Berlin: The Victory Column (Siegessäule)
The Berlin Victory Column was first built next to the Reichstag, the Berlin Victory Column was built after Danish-Prussian war in 1864, and was moved to the Großer Stern intersection in 1939. Essentially untouched by the Second World War, the column is a fantastic way to get a view of Berlin, away from the main part of the city. There's also a small museum with architectural models of other monuments from around the world, showing some of the design influences on the monument. It's also a pretty good workout to get up to the observation deck!
